A Fanzine About a Boat

It can seem difficult now, at this remove, to explain just how important the Boat was. Some years on, it can seem like a distant dream, or a relic of a bygone age. Perhaps it even feels like a guilty secret. 

That's not how it was though. The Boat wasn't about nostalgia or a last hurrah. It had an energy, an excitement, a passion that owed just as much to the future as the past. 

We tried to capture that in Deck 7, and the result was something I am really proud of. I hope we'll be able to do another issue sometime soon.

More than anything I am grateful for the friendship and laughs I have shared with the new friends I made during that short week.

It changed my life, there's no doubt about that.
