It's interesting that there seem to be a lot of crossover elements to this. It's a bit like Plaskett on Three where the songs all seemed to reference each other in their own special world. So here we have Fussing and Fighting which seems like a well worn BMW line, Kaya which ends up as an album title, Sun is Shining which I feel sure will come round again, and more.

Important also to note that at this point it feels very much like "The Wailers," not "Bob Marley and the Wailers." I wonder where that separation comes in? Catch a Fire, by the looks of things? When Chris Blackwell and co get involved. Nevertheless, even at this point it's an unmistakable sound when Bob starts to sing. It almost feels like these are skeletal versions of songs which will reemerge further down the line in all their glory? Don't Rock My Boat with its "satisfy my soul" line, for instance.

Sun is Shining has that instant recognition factor, but it is so different in this stripped back format, like the difference between the Field Mice and St Etienne versions of "Kiss and Make Up."
